What we collect

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

• Enquiries: your name, work email, and optionally company, role, team size and your message.
• Newsletter: your email address, and the fact that you confirmed your subscription.
• Your account: your name, email address and, once you buy a course, your phone number. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, or with Google if you choose; we never ask for or store a password. If you use Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Enrolment and purchases: your name, email, phone number, the program or course you bought, the amount, and the order and payment references returned by our payment gateway.
• Learning records: the courses you are enrolled in, how far you have watched each lesson, which lessons you have completed, your quiz answers and scores, and the certificates issued to you.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

Card details

We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details, whether you pay for a program seat or an online course. Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, which is certified to handle them. We receive only a payment identifier, the amount and whether the payment succeeded.

Why we use your data

• To answer your enquiry and send you the program information you asked for.
• To confirm your seat, deliver the program, and issue your certificate.
• To run your account: give you access to the courses you are enrolled in, save your progress, grade your quizzes, and issue and verify your certificates.
• To send you emails about your account and purchases, such as sign-in links, purchase confirmations and an occasional reminder to finish a course you started.
• To send the weekly newsletter, if you subscribed, until you unsubscribe.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who processes it for us

These providers process data on our instructions. Some store data outside India; where that happens it is under contractual protections offered by that provider.

• A website hosting provider, for running this website and keeping server logs.
• A cloud database provider, for storing accounts, enrolments, learning progress, payment records and certificates.
• A cloud storage provider, for storing course videos and delivering them to your device. It receives the technical data your device sends when a video plays, such as your IP address.
• An email delivery provider, for sending sign-in links and enquiry, enrolment, purchase and newsletter emails.
• An email inbox provider, for the mail you send us.
• A payment gateway, for processing payments.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.

Certificate verification pages

Every certificate we issue has its own verification page, so that an employer or anyone else you share it with can confirm it is genuine. That page is public: anyone with its link or the certificate's serial number can see the holder's name, the course, the date of issue and whether the certificate is valid. It does not show your email address or any other contact details.

Valid certificate pages are listed in our sitemap, so search engines may show them when someone searches the holder's name. You can hide your page from search engines at any time from the Certificates section of your account; it then stays available to anyone you give the link to.

Cookies

When you sign in, we set a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, renewed while you keep using the site. Signing in with Google also sets short-lived security cookies for the duration of the sign-in. These cookies are needed for your account to work, and signing out removes the session cookie. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact with us.
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a record of the unsubscribe.
• Enrolment and payment records: as long as tax and company law require, currently eight years.
• Your account and learning records: while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete them, except records the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to confirm what data of yours we hold, correct it, or erase it where we are not required to keep it. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time, and every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, payment verification happens on our servers, course videos play only through short-lived signed links, and access to our email, database and payment dashboards is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us sensitive personal information by email.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
